Once upon a time in the small village of Gllogjan, Kosovo, there lived a curious and brave little girl named Atifete. From the time she could walk, Atifete loved exploring the world around her. She would ask endless questions: "Why can't girls do that too?" and "What makes a good leader?" Her parents always encouraged her, saying, "Education is your superpower!"

As time went on, bad things happened in her country. The war made many families scared and sad and little Atifete saw the importance of unity and kindness in these bad times.

One day she finished school, and decided she wanted to be a policewoman! That way she could protect anyone who needed her help. She started in the police at the very bottom, but made her way up, and before she knew it she was a very important policewoman! Showing that girls can also achieve their highest dreams.

A few years later, the leaders of Kosovo chose Atifete to be the first woman President! As one of the youngest presidents ever, she thought to herself “I will be an example for all the other little girls who dream big!”. Not only did she meet with world leaders, but also helped us all realise the importance of our voice, making sure women could also be leaders in Kosovo.

Remembering what her parents said, she opened Kosovo’s first national library. “Books build minds” is what she said when she opened the library - as she remembered the importance of education. She created special sections so people of all languages could read and learn.

Today Atifete keeps spreading kindness and justice to all, and helps women in being leaders. She has set the example for all Kosovo girls who dream big!
